Yesterday was site announcement! Our trainers drew a giant map of Ghana with chalk and then they announced our sites and we got to walk to the part of Ghana we would be in. Chris and I are at the tip top in the Upper East! We were super happy to find out Chelsea and Mikayla are biking distance from us. That doesn’t happen often, most volunteers are at least an hour drive apart and here we are mere bicycle miles. Yay! Chris and I are the first Peace Corps volunteers in our village! Our village is the largest in the group, with roughly 6,000 people. It’s a farming village. There isn’t transportation in our village, so get to our bigger market town we will need to bike. We can’t wait to go visit in a couple of days.
